HUD Racing

Hud Racing had a fabulous result as they finished 3rd in Class and 8th overall in the Toyota Desert 1000 2018 in Jwaneng, Botswana.

Rory Nossiter

The KZN RRC meeting on 14 June 2018 at Dezzi Raceway marks the halfway point in the championship.

Race day: Practice went well for Rory as he qualified in 3rd place in class F.

Race 1:  Rory finished in 2nd place in class F. In race 2, he managed to take 1st place halfway through the race in class F. However, he experienced a mechanical failure which saw two of his competitors pass him but he still managed to finish the race. Rory was given a 2nd place overall in Class F.

With the team having raced in 4 meetings so far, they have obtained 4 trophies. “Racing a small car like the mini has raised eyebrows especially since we’re beating big cars. The secret to our success is the FUCHS Lubricants we use that is giving us the winning edge,” said Rory Nossiter, team driver.  The next race is on 14 July 2018 at Dezzi Raceway.

Brights Motorsport

Brights Motorsport drivers and riders put on an astonishing performance at Aldo Scribante in Port Elizabeth. Daniel Bright qualified the fastest in class F and went on to finish 1st and 2nd respectively in his class in races one and two. He was given an overall victory in class F for the day.

Dominic Doyle unfortunately had an accident and was forced to retire from the race. Paul Roelofse finished second in the Unlimited class and is now Leading the Class championship.

Roberto Bert Jonker finished on the top of the Podium in the Masters class and is also leading the Masters championship.

Regard Koen finished sixth and is currently second in the 600cc Championship.

“Our teams’ performance has been up to par this season. The FUCHS Lubricants we use have given us the winning edge,” said Brights Motorsport manager, Sparky Bright.  The next round is on the 14th August.
