Cameron Durow Worthy Experience at Dutch Masters of Motocross - Zwarte Cross

Cameron Durow had a good weekend racing at the final round of the Dutch Master of Motocross, qualifying in 11th position.

Race 1: Durow started well and was in 7th position after the first lap, working his way into 5th position where he finished the first race.

Race 2: Durow stayed in 4th position until the last lap when he was unfortunately passed by a competitor and finished 5th. For the day, he was given a 7th overall. “I’m really happy with my results and I’m going to keep working hard to improve them,” he said.

Lance Isaacs Racing Unstoppable at Extreme Festival

Round six of the Bridgestone Thunderbike National Challenge was held at the Aldo Scribante Race track in Port Elizabeth. Although the rainy weather was not favourable, it didn’t seem to have any effect on the Lance Isaacs Racing Team mission.

On Friday Isaacs finished the fastest in the free practice. Harry Timmermann, who was new to Aldo Sribante circuit got some much needed track time. In the qualifying race on Saturday, Lance set the second fastest time and Harry finished in position 6.

Race 1: Lance kept his head forward and concentrated on his own race to take the flag to win.

Race 2:  This was a repeat of the opening race for Lance, but the rain intensified. He once again took the lead only for the race to be temporarily red flagged, but he remained in the top position for the day. Harry Timmermann was impressive in his racing. He took position 4 overall and second in his class (Thundebike C) with this being his first race in the Thunderbikes Class.

“This was a very tricky weekend and the mix of a new track surface, strong winds and heavy rains didn’t make it a walk in the park. Winning both races from start to finish and extending my championship lead is what we take from the coastal track,” said Isaacs.

Brights Motorsport Impressive Debut in Investment Formula Racing

Chassen Bright made his debut appearance at Round 5 of the INVESTCHEM FORMUA 1600 National championship on 14 July driving for the Fantastic Racing team.

Driving his Mygale, the FUCHS Lubricants-sponsored Bright showed he means business as he posted the fastest time in the first session of practice. Race day: Bright qualified in 4th place for both races.

Race 1: Bright was in fourth place when the race was red flagged when the rain came down hard. At the restart, he came from behind to finish fourth.

Race 2: Bright was in second place with three laps remaining when he had mechanical failure forcing him out of the race.

“I have to say we chose the right lubricants to use on our racing car. FUCHS Lubricants products have really proved to give us a competitive edge we need. I’m really looking forward to more races in the new championship,” said Bright.
