FUCHS-Sponsored Racers Out In Full Force
Deegan #99: Young Deegan #99 took to the SuperGP 300 Nationals race of the Super GP Championships at the Aldo Scribante Racetrack in Port Elizabeth. This being his first time at this track, a lot stood to be accomplished.
Practice: Deegan dropped from his average lap time by 6 seconds, from the first session on Friday's practice.
Racing: He managed to maintain his composure until his bike began giving mechanical problems, but he still managed to finish the race in 7th place.
Bright’s Motorsport Team: Bright’s Motorsport Team riders gave an excellent performance in Round 5 of the Super-GP Champions Trophy at the Aldo Scribante Racetrack.
Roberto Bert Jonker took podium in his BMW RR in the AMSC Master’s class, setting a new lap record in the process. Paul Roelofse claimed third place overall in the AMSC Unlimited Class on his Yamaha R1 and Ronnie Doyle also took third place overall in the 300 Class.
John Krieger joined the Bright’s Motorsport team on invitation and rode in both the AMSC Unlimited Class and Super GP Masters. He finished second overall and third in the Interprovincial masters.
Allann-Jon Venter, who shared Yamaha R1 bike with Paul Roelofse, competed in the Super GP Class finishing sixth in both races.
Marc Ansley: Round 4 of the National Motocross Championship took place at the Terra Topia Motocross Track. It was raced in conjunction with Round 4 of the Northern Regions Championship.
Practice: Marc posted the 7th fastest time among the National competitors and 2nd fastest among the Regional competitors in the MX 3 class.
Heat1: The race started well and unfortunately halfway through he was forced to quit after experiencing an injury. Marc will be back to racing in 6 to 8 weeks. His next race will be on 6 October at Dirt Bronco for Round 6.
