MAD Racing: Invitational GT Super Cup
MAD Racing Polo sponsored by FUCHS Lubricants driven by Dewald Brummer was invited to participate in the final round of the GT Super Cup at a very rainy Phakisa. From the get go, the team faced some stiff competition in a pull with race cars including Ford Focus ST and Golf GTi, to name a few.
In the qualifying race, Brummer qualified in second position. Race 1: The water-logged surface caused visibility as well some mechanical issues for most of the racing cars including MAD Racing who experienced an electrical failure on the car causing them to retire from the race.
Race 2: The team had fixed the electrical issues and were prepared to show the big boys why they are one of the best teams in Motorsport racing. Brummer showed his skill and prowess as he stuck to his mandate and finished the race in second place. The team was giving a second place overall for the day.
“Using the FUCHS lubricants under these conditions has really proved to give our team the competitive advantage needed to finish in the podium position. The lubricants give reliable performs in any conditions,” said Deon Brummer, team manager.
AM Racing: Round 7 Autobarn Superhatch – Zwartkops Raceway
Round 7 - the penultimate round of the Autobarn Superhatch Championship - took place at Zwartkops. After experiencing some mechanical issues at the Phakisa 200km, the team had addressed the issues and were ready to race again.

Race 1: The cars started slowly being cautious of the slippery surface, and Marques finished in 7th position.
Race 2: Starting in 7th place, Marques had a lot of work to do. He put his skill and experience to the test and made his way to finish 4th. The team was given a 4th place overall in class for the day.
Going into the final round, the team is in 5th place in the class championship with 4 points behind 4th place. The final race takes place on 10th of November at Zwartkops raceway.
