As the 2018 Motorsport season comes to an end. FUCHS Lubricants has been instrumental in giving the teams it sponsors a competitive advantage this season.

Hud racing claimed Class S SACCS championship after a rough and tough gold 400 race. The team duo of driver David Huddy and navigator Gerhard Schutte had a closely contested Class S race as mechanical issues saw them losing 5th and 6th gears in the 375 kilometres trail at Glenharvie on the West Rand of Gauteng.

Despite the setback, they finished in 3rd position. The result saw them being crowned the new Class S 2018 SACCS National Champions and were the highest placed NISSAN competitor for the year in the competition.

The weekend ending 11 November, which was the season finale for most FUCHS Lubricants-sponsored teams, saw good results coupled with podium finishes at the different motorsport races.

His teammate Harry Timmermann didn’t disappoint as he secured the final championship, the Sub 10 overall championship, making it a total of four titles for the Lance Isaacs Racing team in 2018.

MONROE Racing RSA team driver Lyle Ramsay Racing gave good performance in the VW Motormart Challenge in his new Polo as he secured seventh position in the category championship standings and third position in Class A.

In his farewell to Motorsport racing and  the Autobarn SuperHatch championship, AM Racing team driver Alex Marques wanted to leave an everlasting memory of his racing. He finished the 7th overall for the day.
