Wm Penn, distributed by FUCHS Lubricants, has extended its range of gear oils to cover all vehicle types and now consists of SAE 90, SAE 75W-90, SAE 80W-90, SAE 85W-140.

The Gear Oil EP SAE 90 are medium-duty gear oils formulated to provide protection for passenger car transmissions and final drives, as well as commercial and off-highway equipment. “The gear oil range has extreme pressure and anti-wear additives, coupled with oxidation, rust, foaming and corrosion resistance properties,” explained Lerato Dhladhla, Product and Brand Marketing Specialist at FUCHS Lubricants South Africa.                                                                                                          

The other oils in the Wm Penn gear oil range are heavy-duty gear lubricants that provide the added benefit of facilitating smooth gear changes and are suitable for passenger cars and off-road vehicles.

These include the SAE 75W-90 brand that offers increased protection for gearboxes, differentials and certain final drives for vehicles operating under severe conditions. The SAE 80W-90 oil provides lubrication for continuous low-speed, high-torque off-highway equipment and the SAE 85W-140 product offers increased protection for final drives, transmissions and gearboxes.
