FUCHS Lubricants Announces Continued Motorsport Sponsorship for 2019
FUCHS Lubricants has announced its continuation of sponsorship of various motorsport teams at a breakfast held at its head office in Isando.
Present at the event were Monroe Racing RSA, MAD Racing, Team Truggy, Marc Ansley and HUD Racing all sponsored by FUCHS Lubricants.
Monroe Racing RSA have included two young female riders for the 2019 season. The team will be headed up by two experienced senior team members namely; Lyle Ramsay, the only driver in the team and competes in the National VW Challenge class.
The new team members are Daphne Lang, who will be compete in the Extreme Festivals and Monicle series where she will be racing the Kawasaki ZX-6.
The youngest member to join the team is 13-year-old Jessica Vermaak. The young rider hails from Port Elizabeth. Connor Rossi Thomson will be competing in South Africa, in between his British Superbike commitments.
Dewald Brummer, driver of MAD Racing, made his debut in Class B of the Clubmans season after a successful 2018 racing season in the KZN Road Racing Championship.
Team Truggy made up of Giel Nel(driver) and Ben Jensen (navigator) had a successful finish in the 2018 WOMZA/ARRO National Rally Championship and are ready to do it again in 2019 in the All Africa Off road championships.
The team of father and son Larry (Chevrolet Corvette) and Terry Wilford (Ford Falcon) had their debut race in the 2019 SA V8 Supercars championship.
Team Arrow Yamaha #M2 Marc Gleed (pilot) and Wiltas Leeuwner (co-pilot), race inflatable boats and achieved 2nd place in the National Championships in the modified class and 2nd in the 2018/2019 Trans Agulhas modified class in December 2018.
Marc Ansley, Cameron Durow and Regan Wasmuth all race motocross motorcycles and participate in the SA National Motocross championship and various regional championships.
FUCHS Lubricants also sponsors a number of other teams and racers including Deegan 99 who racers in the Monocycle series, Franco Scribante Racing who races G & h transport Extreme Super cars, Michael Louw races in the Super Bike Short Circuit Series, Rory Nositer races a 1978 Mini Clubman in the Retro Racing Club under the pre 1980 historic category, P Trimborn Racing Team do endure racing as well as Bright Motorsport Team.
