Motorsport Round Up and This Weekend’s Upcoming Racing
This week's sports round-up news and upcoming racing from FUCHS Lubricants-sponsored teams in action in their various motorsport categories saw P Trimborn make teamwork dreamwork as the team headed up to Lesotho to compete in the Roof of Africa Bronze Qualifier. All eight riders competed and finished in the field.
Team Truggy went all out to defend their lead in the Africa Off-road Club & Regional racing as they raced in the rain-drenched terrain at the Corsica 200. The conditions didn’t stop them from completing the race and once again finishing first in class in the club and the regional race.
Vision Racing riders Bryce Petersen finished 3rd in the Pro Mini Class and Louis Mostert finished 3rd in the 65 Class with Tyler Petersen finishing 5th in the 65 Class at the Pre-national in Bloemfontein.
Round 4 of the Motul Clubmans Championship heads to Zwartkops Raceway this weekend, having completed three previous rounds that has seen the popular series travel across three circuits, namely Red Star Raceway, Midvaal Raceway and Phakisa Freeway. MAD Racing’s Dewald Brummer is looking to reclaim his position at the top of Class B in the championship.
Dezzi Raceway on the South Coast will come alive as Auto Complete Mini do battle in the Retro Racing class.
HUD Racing will also travel to the KwaZulu-Natal town of Winterton, in the foothills of the mighty Drakensberg, for Round 2 of the SACCS 2019 championship, the BERG 400 this weekend.
