Fuel-Economy Engine Oil With Optimum Cold Start Ability

FUCHS Lubricants has made available TITAN GT1 FLEX 23 SAE 5W-30 engine oil that carries the approvals of 4 OEMs BMW, GM, MB and VW with exhaust after treatment and turbocharger.

It is a premium-performance, extreme fuel-economy engine oil with optimum cold start ability and outstanding performance for modern passenger cars and light commercial vehicles with or without extended service intervals.

The engine oil is also suitable for other passenger cars and vans. With the combination of ACEA C2 and C3 and corresponding approvals, TITAN GT1 FLEX 23 SAE 5W-30 offers a wide range of applications with harmonisation potential of several European and Asian manufacturers.

“The product is also advantageous for modern downsizing engines and engines with start-stop-systems as well as exhaust gas after treatment systems such as catalysts or particulate filters,” said Fatima Moolla, Product Manager Automotive, FUCHS Lubricants SA.

“The use of TITAN GT1 FLEX 23 SAE 5W-30 can result in more than a double fuel reduction compared to conventional ACEA C3-products of the same SAE-class,” she said.

TITAN GT1 FLEX 23 SAE 5W-30 is suitable for vehicles running on gasoline, diesel or gas (LPG, CNG), and in combination with up-to-date exhaust gas after-treatment systems. Even older engine generations can be changed over to TITAN GT1 FLEX 23 SAE 5W-30. The product can also be applied in many vehicles of Asian manufacturers if the use of an API SN, ACEA C2 or C3 engine oil is specified.

The oil may only be used in diesel engines when low sulphur diesel fuel is being used. The product is miscible and compatible with conventional branded engine oils. Mixing with other engine oils should be avoided to fully utilise the product’s benefits.
