FUCHS Lubricants has made available the TITAN CARGO LD3 SAE 10W-40 engine oil, an ultra-high-performance, fuel-economy engine oil for use in heavy duty fleet including trucks and buses and is specially developed for extended service intervals.

“The engine oil is recommended for used for Scania, Euro IV and Euro V engines without diesel particulate filter, and Scania Euro VI engines. It also has approvals from MACK, MAN, RENAULT, SCANIA and VOLVO manufacturers. The SAE Class 10W-40 engine oil ensures reliable all-season use, and also provides the longest oil change intervals,” said Fatima Moolla, Product Manager Automotive, FUCHS Lubricants SA.  

“TITAN CARGO LD3 10W-40 has a higher performance capacity than conventional high-performance engine oils. Internationally, this type of oil is designated as UHPD (UHPD = Ultra High-Performance Diesel Oil). Regardless of the current service life, even older diesel engines can change to TITAN CAR- GO LD3 10W-40 without flushing and experience improved protection against corrosion even when high sulfur-content diesel fuels are used,” she said.

Extremely long oil change intervals are possible based on the truck manufacturer’s recommendations. According Scania fluids specification LDF3, when using the oil an extended oil change interval is guaranteed for trucks in long-distance and local use for the Scania engine series.
