In was a good weekend of racing as some of FUCHS Lubricants racing teams participated in the final rounds of their motorsport competitions.

The grand finale of the Extreme Festival was held at Zwartkops Raceway for FUCHS Lubricants-sponsored racing teams. Lyle Ramsay accomplished everything he had set as The Monroe racing team driver accomplished pole position in qualifying, followed by two wins and one fastest lap for the day. He finished 2nd in Class A and 3rd overall in the MotorMart VW Challenge for the 2019 season.

The Wilford racing team had an excellent finish to their racing season. During the third practice round of the Mobil 1 V8 Supercars, it was Terry who took lead followed by his father Larry as they finished the race 1st and 2nd respectively. Overall, for the 2019 race season Terry finished 3rd with 209 points followed by Larry in 4th position with 133 points.

Franco Scribante started the final race in 4th position on the grid in the G.H.Transport Extreme Supercars event. As the racing commenced his experience saw him keep his confidence throughout the race finishing 1st. Race 2: Again, Franco started up front on the grid and comfortably maintained the generous lead throughout the race.

The final race of the 2019 Supermoto season was held at Redstar Raceway. #MichaelSpeed racing team’s Michael Louw again claimed the championship for the 3rd year running. Joe Louw (son) won the Mini Moto Novice championship for 2019.
