After almost 20 years, Dr. Manfred Fuchs, while on holiday in South Africa, paid a most welcome visit to FUCHS Southern Africa (FSA) on the 1st November 2019. Dr. Fuchs last visited South Africa when he came to oversee the merger of Noxal, National Oil and Century Oils as part of FUCHS Lubricants expansion plan into South Africa. Since then, the company has grown significantly. Subsequent growth was aided by expansion into the OEM sector, mining sector and increased exports into African markets where FUCHS’ presence is growing rapidly.

FSA was pleased to welcome Dr. Fuchs and his wife with the news that October was a record month. Not only did FSA sell more volume, generate more sales and net contribution than ever before but it also produced its highest volume ever.

After a tour of the plant, Dr. Manfred Fuchs and Lilo Fuchs were presented with a gift by two of our longest serving employees Solomon Sikhosana and Constance Malahlela.
