The final Round of Motorsport racing saw FUCHS Lubricants-sponsored teams finish top in their various Motorsport competitions - Race Report 23 November.

The final Round of the MSA Northern Regions Motocross Championship took place at Smoking Pistons Raceway on the 9th November 2019. Going into the race, FUCHS Lubricants-sponsored Marc Ansley #18 had a three-point lead in the Championship.

Practice: Ansley set the fastest time in the MX 3 Class going in to the first heat. Ansley then went on to win heat 1. In heat 2, he finished 2nd. Overall, he was declared winner of the MX 3 Class for the 2019 Championship.

Brights Motorsport conquered the Syrabix 3- hour event in Port Elizabeth which saw 41 cars taking the start.

The teams’ racer Bryn High dominated the two sprint races, finishing first overall for the day in his FUCHS Lubricants AUDI. Steve High in a Chevy Cruise also finished first in Class B in both Sprint races, giving him an overall in class for the day.

Chassen Bright and Bryn High qualified 7th on the grid and first of the Lotus class ahead of the Three Hour endurance race, High Started the race and held the lead in the Lotus class for the first 30min of the race till a water pipe failure caused a unexpected pit stop. The team managed to fix it using FUCHS Pro Cool Coolant lubricant.

Bright took the wheel and had dropped to 27th place. The team made a remarkable comeback as they drove the Lotus back to second in class and 7th overall at their next pit stop. Unfortunately, as racing resumed, unforeseen mechanical issues saw the team pull out the race.

At the Kyalami 9-hour race held at Kyalami Circuit on 22 and 23 November, Lyle Ramsey was in high spirits as he took position 1 for VW Challenge in both initial sessions. In the qualifying round he finished 3rd. In Round 1, he was overtaken by his competitors but with three laps to go he redeemed himself and took the lead and finished first.
