FUCHS Teams Show Resilience in Season Finale Races
The season finale race of the SA Endurance Series which was a 9 Hour Race took place at Killarney International Raceway which saw FUCHS Teams Show Resilience in a challenging event.
The showdown saw FUCHS Lubricants-sponsored Pesty Racing team and StiaanKriel team raced their Backdraft Roadsters at the showdown.
Pesty Racing team has a strong start from 13th position in Class C and despite encountering mechanical problems in the race, being forced from the race after only having completed 118 laps they finished 4th overall in the 20202 series standings.
The Stiaan Kriel Racing team also took to the finale firing on all four. However, they too encountered mechanical failures at the 7th hour mark and having completed 234 laps of racing and had to call it a day. Overall, they finished their maiden endurance racing season in third place in Class E.
Lyle Ramsay Racing partnership with Calvin Rademeyer Racing in Zimbabwe at Bulawayo Motorsport Park 3-hour endurance event was exactly what the doctor ordered. The duo raced the Polo to a remarkable 4th overall and 2nd in Class finish on the day.
Meanwhile out in North West province, Marc Ansley raced at a fun event to mark the opening of a new motocross circuit, Area 69 track close to Bothaville.
Racing in MX3 Class, Ansley had a good race finishing in sixth position in both races giving him a 6th overall for the day.
