Podium Finishes For FUCHS Teams – Race Report 27 February
FUCHS Lubricants-sponsored teams were on a mission to take home wins as they took to their various Motorsport competitions.
Marc Ansley: Round 2 of the Inland Motocross Championship took place at Terra Topia in Gauteng on the 27 February. The Womza Inland championship saw almost 300 racers entering the race.
Practise: Marc Ansley qualified 1st in the Master’s Class. Heat 1: Riding in the Masterclass, Ansley finished 1st overall. Heat 2: Ansley kept his eye on the win, but his competitors pushed him back and he finished 4th. Overall, he was given a 3rd for the day in the Master’s Class.
Team Mike Speed Racing: Round 1 of the Superbike Short Circuit Series was held at Formula K Raceway in Benoni.
The races which consisted of a qualifying heat and 3 race heats saw Joe (son) finishing 3rd in all 3 heats in the Supermoto Junior 50cc Class.
Michael (father) finished 2nd in heats one and two respectively and 3rd in the third heat. Overall, he was given a 3rd for the day in the Supermoto Master 450cc Class. The next round for the father and son team will be at Polokwane on the 26 and 27th of March 2021.
