Motorsport Teams Deliver Good Results - Race Report 20 March

FUCHS Lubricants-sponsored Motorsport racing teams delivered good results as they took to their different competitions across the country.

#WilfordRacingTeam: Terry Wilford was back on the podium in Round 1 of the Mobil1 V8 Supercars at Killarney International Raceway in his Ford Falcon. He qualified in position 2. Race 1: He finished 2nd with fastest lap and Race 2 unfortunately saw him retire early.

Caden Weise #07: Young Caden Weise #07 (AKA Booboo) took to the Rover Round 2 on 13 March with a home ground advantage. Heat 1 was tough, and he finished 10th in class. Heat 2 – He gave it his best and finished 9th. 

bLU cRU Peak Yamaha: Two of the team races participated in the Titans National Enduro 21 March at Haartebeespoort.

Though this was their debut race, Daniel Van Zyl (282) and Noah Maartens (556) were both content about their racing capabilities. Daniel finished 6th in E1 Class and 18th overall in NESS Championship. Noah finished 6th in J2 Class and 45th overall in NESS Championships.

This weekend’s racing will see Rich Racing SA team’s rider Brandon #30 Parsons as well as #MichaelSpeed duo of Joe (son) and Michael in action for Round 2 of the Michelin Supermoto South Africa taking place at the Polokwane circuit.

Lyle Ramsay Racing takes to the track for the first time in 2021 in the newly built BMW 330i competing in the

BMW Car Club Gauteng at Redstar Raceway Delmas South Africa.
