The team’s 8 super bikes competing in various categories and in extreme conditions throughout Africa rely on Silkolene 0W-20 Motorcycle engine oil for the ultra high revving 600cc machines, the choice is obvious, the low viscosity synthetic cuts oil drag yet maintains a tough low wear film for our highly stressed engines.

The smaller machines use a combination of FUCHS Silkolene Pro Plus 5W-40, 10W-30 and 10W-40 Pro 4 motorcycle engine oil. These products give us optimum engine protection with ultimate performance and reliability. 

Sprocket and Chains require a unique lubrication together with a less friction combination, therefore we only use FUCHS Silkolene Titanium Dry Gel and for cleaning of the chains after every outing we entrust the FUCHS Silkolene Brake and Chain Cleaner. 

For overall cleaning of all motorcycles and off road race machines the team uses the FUCHS Silkolene Wash Off mostly because it removes all types of dirt without any corrosive effects. 

For the BMW E36 330I race car, Lyle Ramsay and team use the FUCHS TITAN Race Pro 10w-60 engine oil, the product offers optimum protection due to minimised frictional losses and a unique stable oil film. The gearbox requires TITAN ATF 4400 because of high torque capacity.
