#MotorsportHighlights: Podium Finish For FUCHS at Motocross

Round 4 of the Inland Motocross Championship took place at Smoking Pistons Motocross track in Gauteng on the 1 May.

FUCHS Lubricants-sponsored Marc Ansley who has been putting his best foot forward in previous races was prepared to claim victory at this outing. The track was well prepared for the day but was really muddy after some unexpected rain on Friday.

Practise: The Practice round was difficult and dangerous as races got stuck in the mud. Ansley managed to come out unscathed and qualified 3rd in the MX3 Master Class.

Heat 1:  Ansley got off to a great start and feeling comfortable. His composure paid off as he finished first in Heat 1.

Heat 2: Feeling contempt after his victory, Ansley focused on the winning again and despite a battle with a fellow competitor he claimed the number one spot.

Overall, finishing first in both Heat 1 and 2 he was given the 1st overall in the MX3 Masters Class for the day.
