FUCHS Lubricants-sponsored Bright’s Motorsport Team drivers stun expectations at Aldo Scribante racetrack in Gqebeha (Port Elizabeth) with all four drivers achieving podium finishes in their respective classes on the day.

Daniel Bright qualified quickest in his class with a new personal best with the endurance set up with close racing in all three heats Bright finished second in class. In the 45min endurance race Bright showed good overall pace and was consistent putting in qualifying pace each lap. Unfortunately, an electrical issue saw him retire before he could finish the race.

Andrew Boshoff had a good drive in his MK 1 golf to finish third after a strong performance in all three races, Boshoff finished tenth overall in the endurance race.

Greg Forward enjoyed his last race meeting in his VW Polo finishing fourth in class for the day. Forward had consistent pace in the 45 min race finishing 5th Overall and second on index of performance.

Xolela Njumbuxa was in great form as he placed first in Class F and 12th overall in the Regional Saloons race and an impressive 7th overall and 3rd on Index of Performance in the 45-minute endurance race.
