Roller Coaster Ride of Results For FUCHS Teams – Race Report 19 June 2021

The Motorsport weekend delivered a mixed bag of results for #FUCHSLubricants-sponsored teams.

Wilford Racing Team - The Passion of Speed

Round 3 of the Mobil 1 v8 Supercars was held at Zwartkops Raceway. #WilfordRacing Team duo of Son-and-Father Terry (#21 Fuchs Lubricants Ford Falcon) and Larry Wilford (#77 Fuchs Lubricants Chevrolet Corvette) started from the fourth row. 

Race1: The racing was full tension and after an incident in the 6th lap, the race was completed under the safety car with Larry in 5th and Terry finishing in 7th place.

Race2: The reverse-grid second race was reduced to 10 laps instead of 12. Unfortunately, in the 7th lap Larry was forced to retire with mechanical issues. Terry finished 7th.

As it stands Terry is currently 4th on the Mobil 1 V8 Supercars Leaderboard at the midway point of the 2021 season.

Brights Motorsport Team - Bragging Rights Drag Race

Brights Motorsport Kuvenderen Govender raced in the Bragging Rights Drag Race at the Aldo Scribante Raceway, driving his Audi S3 road legal vehicle.

Kuvenderen adapted well to the Head Up format of racing while posting his personal best times over the ¼ Mile drag strip of a 10.920 seconds at 203.8km/h.
