Sensational Podium Finishes For FUCHS Team - Race Report: 10 July 2021

Bright’s Motorsport maintained its podium dominance once again at Aldo Scribante as all team drivers finished on the podium in their respective classes.

Daniel Bright competed in his FUCHS Lubricants/Bright’s Motorsport MK1 Golf to finish Second overall in class D of the Regional Modified class.

Bright changed focus to the 45 min endurance race and from start to finish showed both impressive and consistent pace allowing him to finish First overall and First on Index of Performance.

Bright in debrief could only thank his Team and FUCHS Lubricants for all their hard work and dedication as the car was able to take the punishment lap after lap with no issues with engine performance being at its peak the entire race thanks to the excelling performance of the FUCHS Lubricants products.

Andrew Boshoff drove his VW MK 1 and dominated in Class E with a first overall in class, Boshoff drove His MK 1 in the 45 min Endurance race consistently without fault to finished third in index and overall.

Xolela Njumbuxa excelled once again, showing determination and charge as he battles for the lead of the Overall Regional Championship, with a second overall in Class for the day. Xolela’s 45 min race was set to be one of consistency as he put focus in smooth and constant laps. Xolela drove the VW/FUCHS Lubricants Polo 1.2 to fourth overall and an impressive second place in index of performance.

Greg Forword settled into his new BMW E36 race car like seasoned driver immediately making an impression and finishing second in Class X. Forword started the 45 min racing with good pace and was set to run upfront unfortunately he suffered from a gearbox issue and had to retire. Forward will move to class D for the next event with expectations of finding some more pace and seat time in the weeks to come.

Bright’s Motorsport is extremely proud having locked out the Index of Performance Podium and achieving an overall victory in the Endurance Race. END.
