After a long lay off FUCHS Lubricants-sponsored teams were back racing at their various Motorsport competitions - race Report 14 August.

MAD Racing: A week after racing in the F400 Karting Endurance series, Dewald Brummer was back competing again in the Silver Cup 2.0 race during Round 3 of the Extreme Festival at Zwartkops.

Qualifying: Brummer racing in his VW Polo went out guns blazing and proved to be ready by finishing first in Class B.

Race 1: The 10-lap race proved to be walk in the park for Brummer as he took lead in Class and finished 1st.

Marc Ansley: Round 6 of the Inland Motocross Championship took place at Terra Topia Motocross track on 14 August at Terra Topia.  This was a combined event with the Inter Provincial Motocross Championship and points would count towards both.

Practice: Ansley qualified 2nd in the MX3 Masters Class.

Heat 1: Despite racing in freezing conditions, Ansley got off to a good start and settled into the lead of the Masters Class and was able to put pull away from his competitors and finished the Heat with a convincing lead to take the win.

Heat 2:  Ansley showed good skills and again he was able to take lead in the race and took another victory. At the end of the race, by winning both races he was given 1st overall in the MX3 Masters Class.
