In April, Wilford Racing participated in Round 2 of the Mobil 1 V8 Supercars Championship at Zwartkops Raceway.

Next up is FUCHS Lubricant’s Johan Vogelesang 18 was out and about at Thunder Valley MX National round 2!

The MX1 class is stacked this year and there’s not many points separating positions 3 to 10. He has managed to move up to 7th in the championship points as we inch closer to the top 5.

Round 3 will be hosted in Bloemfontein at his home track! There’s certainly a lot of excitement as he tries to crack into that Top 3 position.

It was also a great month for Marc Gleed and team on the power boats where they competed at the Trans-Atlantic 3-day event which covered a distance of approximately 400km on the West Coast.

Stage one: Veldrif to Elandsbaai and back to Veldrif with a second place finish!

Stage two: Veldrif to Yzerfontein, another well-deserved second place.

Stage 3: Dassen Island Challenge from Yzerfontein to Melkbosstrand.

After 3 days of hard racing in tough conditions they had emerged as the overall modified class winner.

The team was ecstatic with their results as this was our 3rd consecutive overall class win at this gruelling event.
