“I went out for qualifying with some fresh tyres and had the grip and confidence to push right from the beginning, I ended up starting second in my class.” Vic Rich
In Race 1, Vic was in the lead where he could push himself to improve his lap times. He was also able to keep his laps at a consistent 2m12secs for the full 10-lap race.
In Race 2, he led the race but soon found himself in an exhilarating battle with another competitor which lasted two laps.
The result? 1st place!
Vic has now extended his lead in the Championship with 3 more races to go. Up next, Vic will race at Zwartkops Raceway short circuit in the Short Circuit Series.

Last month, Jason participated in the Power Series Round 3 Alert Engine Parts GTI Challenge.

May was a busy month for Jaydon as he took part in the Sandtrax Regional Championship and MFG Inland Chestnut Regional Championship.

In Race 1 of Round 3, in the MX1 (450cc) category, Jaydon led for half of the race but dropped back to 2’nd position.
In Race 2 of Round 3, he came 3rd off the start and battled towards the end of the race due to fatigue, where he placed 4’th.
Overall, it was an excellent effort and Jaydon placed 3rd overall in the MX1 (450cc).
MFG Inland Chestnut Regional Championship
The Round 5 MX1 #7 (450 cc) placed 2’nd, and in the MX2 category, place 3rd position.

He is the leader of the 2022 Championship in the Formula Extreme Class…and this is the recap…
In May, Calvin raced in the 2nd round of the KZN Championship at Dezzi Raceway.
In Race 1, he made it to the first corner in 3rd place where he managed to pass another racer in Turn 6, Lap 1 where he finished the race in 2nd place.
An exceptional race indeed and we can’t see where he goes from here!
Dewald Brummer, MAD Racing
After a very cold start to the day, Team MAD Racing started with sizzling results at Zwartkops Raceway!
Dewald qualified 5th overall and pole in class B! The MAD team decided to compete with our normal aspirated 8V Golf for this event!
After a fantastic start to the first race, everything took an unfortunate turn for the team! Dewald was involved in an accident in Turn 4, which resulted in the withdrawal of our car after suffering extensive damage that could not be fixed at the track!
Thankfully, Dewald walked away unharmed and we could not be more grateful.
