A tough outing is the best way to describe round 5 of the Super-GP Champions Trophy held this past weekend, 11th June at Redstar Raceway Delmas South Africa in Mpumalanga.

After a series of good results, Lance Isaacs Racing hoped to reach the podium again, but the 4km track proved a challenge for the FUCHS Lubricants-sponsored team. Bad weather and the crash two weeks earlier at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit caused problems to the bike. Lance finished in position 9 in the qualifying session. In Race 1 he finished 7th and Race 2 he finished 8th.

“Redstar Raceway remains a track that needs a lot of attention for us. We will definitely come back for more practice laps before we return for the penultimate round this year,” said Isaacs.

“The highlight of the weekend was the second-place podium for my team mate Justin Gillesen in the SuperM Class,” he said
