Being the last race of the year I just needed a good finish to secure the championship as I had a healthy points lead.

During Marc’s practice round, he qualified 2nd in the MX3 Master class.This is what Marc had to say about his race:

Heat 1: “The gate dropped and the adrenaline kicked in. I got the Holeshot and took the lead. Somehow I was able to push through to win the first heat of the day.”

Heat 2: “I got another good start in Heat 2 and I was able to lead around the first lap. My closest competitor got a bad start and I was able to pull a gap on him early. I tried my best just to hit my marks and keep it smooth.  I took the chequered flag in 1st place in Heat 2.

Going 1-1 gave me 1st overall in the MX3 Masters class for the day.”
