The Team Truggy duo consisting of driver Giel Nel and navigator Dewald Hatting had a clean sweep at the NTT Klerksdorp200 held on Saturday 1 July. The team won top honours in Class P in both the Regional and Club races and won both races overall in the Special Vehicle category.

Team Truggy also set the fastest lap of the day in the Special Vehicle Category. Giel Nel said: "Everything went well but we had a mechanical malfunction halfway through the race with the gearbox oil pump. However, through perseverance, we managed to push through. The FUCHS Lubricants products we use were up to the task of handling the extra heat in the gearbox and other working mechanisms."

“Team Truggy has excelled this year, achieving good results in Special Stage Rallies as well as Off Road Races,” he said.
