MAD Racing Overcomes Tough Mopar 3-hour Endurance Race
Team MAD Racing, sponsored by FUCHS Lubricants, had a tough racing weekend as they took to the 3-hour Mopar endurance race in Port Elizabeth. The team had a good start in the qualifying round, securing pole position in their class, despite Dewald Brummer missing out on Friday practice and qualifying due to exams.
Within minutes of starting the race, mechanical problem forced the team to halt for a while. Fortunately, the problem was solved and racing continued. Dewald Brummer and Bevan Williams gave it their all working their way back to second position in class and eighth overall.
“After an oil leak, we refilled the car with TiTAN RACE PRO S and the car had oil pressure and sounded perfect. This is testament that FUCHS Lubricants products are high quality as they protected the engine from damage,” said Deon Brummer, manager, Team MAD Racing.
The next race will be the 9-hour Endurance Kart race on the 29th of October at Zwartkops, followed by another 9-hour Endurance race at Phakisa.
