FUCHS Lubricants’ TITAN GEAR FD SAE 60 is an SAE viscosity-grade 60 final-drive and axle oil that exceeds the requirements Caterpillar’s FD-1 specification.

The oil is compatible with all components and materials used in mixed fleets and is suitable for extended drain intervals of up to 4000 hours, and especially applicable to construction machinery.

The product is blended specifically for applications with high load and high temperature conditions. In these conditions, the protection of gears and bearings is a primary concern.

It is miscible with all mineral oil and synthetic-based oils, and therefore, no flushing is required. It has excellent rust and copper corrosion protection and minimizes foaming. With the extended life of the oil due to the low rate of oxidation a reduction in downtime due to extended oil change intervals can be expected.
