Description
HYKOGEEN 87/45 T - 30 is a flowable dispersion of graphites in mineral oil. It forms a closed, homogeneous lubricating film on hot surfaces of the tools owing to its excellent ability to creep and expand. Thus, it reduces the press force. Furthermore, does HYKOGEEN 87/45 T - 30 increase the die life due its good releasing effects in between moulds and workpiece.
Field of application
HYKOGEEN 87/44 T – 30 is used for extrusion operations during warm forging processes of steel (e.g. valve forges).
Method of application
HYKOGEEN 87/45 – T 30 is ready to use and should be applied undiluted by dripping. The use of dose pumps and spraying devices enable efficient application. HYKOGEEN 87/45 – T 30 is especially used for manufacturing mono valves of special alloys.
